Community Assest Building Workshops

One of the biggest challenges facing Community Organisations is a capacity to plan for and build long-term sustainable futures because of uncertainty about future access to appropriate space in the right location. Community Asset Building workshops explore how Organisations can develop community asset building strategies and thereby remove themselves from this treadmill of tenancy uncertainty.

The workshops explain the concepts of community financing and community asset building, and the purpose of the community asset building appraisals prepared by Foresters. Community Organisations will learn how to develop and implement a customized community building strategy tailored specifically to their needs. Managers, directors, management committee members, finance and/or property committee members should all attend.
