iTaNGO Information Sessions

• Confused by IT?

• Want to learn how IT can help manage your organisation – now and into the future?

• Are you willing to work with like minded community based organisations to address shared IT issues?

The Department of Human Services and Department of Planning & Community Development have appointed Infoxchange Australia to undertake the iTaNGO (improving IT awareness in Non Government Organisations) project in 2011.

Community sector organisations (CSOs) who participate in the FREE iTaNGO sessions will:

• Gain the knowledge and confidence to independently develop and implement an IT Plan tailored to their needs.

• Have the opportunity to work with others from your community to improve your understanding of and use of IT - these 'Communities of Practice' will be eligible for financial assistance.

• Have access to IT planning resources developed to meet the needs of CSOs.

An IT Plan will:

• Ensure that your IT supports your organisation’s strategic and business purposes.

• Provide a realistic framework against which a CSO can demonstrate that its use of IT is consistent with its business objectives.

• Assist with decision making on IT investment.
