Making IT and Internet Training a Success for Seniors

The Brotherhood of St. Laurence, Rotary Club of Melbourne and Preston Neigbourhood House are inviting IT facilitators and people interested in technology and older people to come and share their experiences and ideas about what is best practice in teaching seniors how to use the Internet. This forum aims to explore the current training gaps, particularly with the advances of mobile technologies, such as tablet devices and mobile applications.

The forum's key note speaker is Sandra Haukka a senior research fellow from the Australian Research Council of Excellence from Creative Industries and Innovations based with Queensland University of Technology. Sandra will be presenting her latest research 'Older Australians and the Internet'.
