The NH&LC Sector Collective Agreements 2007 and 2008 continue to apply to any organisation signed on to them until the organisation signs onto a new agreement.

2007 or 2008 Agreement respondents that did not sign on to the NHACE Collective Agreement 2010, continue to be bound by the older agreement.

See below for the 2007 and 2008 Agreements, their current pay tables and the pay tables that come into effect from 1 December 2012.

The current paytables became effective from July 2012. These pay tables combine both the NHACE Agreements 2007 & 2008. (The rates of pay are the same).

The December 1 paytables take into account the implimentation of the Equal Remuneration Order (ERO) or Equal Pay Case. The ERO changes only effect the Neighbourhood House Employees  section of the Agreement pay tables. Please note that the pay rates for Adult and Community Education Employees and Children’s Services employees remain unchanged from 1 July 2012.

The Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Service (SCHADS) award is one of the legal benchmarks for the Agreements so ithey are affected by the SCHADS award modernisation process and the SCHADS Equal pay case. (NB the SCHADS Award incorporates and replaces the former SACS award). For more detailed information see ANHLC resource papers here.
