Pay Equity Case and More!

The Pay Equity Case decision is a great step forward for community sector workers in Victoria. The case will combine with two other important industrial events in 2012. So altogether NH&LC pay rates  could be affected by the following three things:

1. SCHADS/SACS modern award classification translation process – effective 1 July 2012

2. National Wage case decision – effective 1 July 2012

3. Pay Equity Case increase - first instalment effective 1 Dec 2012

 How these things affect individual Houses will depend on whether you are using a NH&LC sector collective agreement, one of the awards or another agreement organised through local council or other auspicing organisation.
