It is with excitement that we present to you the ANHLC member survey 2009.
For the first time, we are conducting the survey electronically using Survey Monkey. The majority of those who tested it for us ranked it as ‘quick and easy’. Using Survey Monkey is also much easier for us in terms of data analysis and reporting.
The Go List Project
Emerald Community House conceived of an idea last October when Jon Faine and ABC774 broadcasted from ECH Hall. Called the Bridge Project (... like a bridge over troubled waters...), the concept was designed to assist people in high risk areas to make the choice to leave on high fire risk days by providing them with a list of destinations.
2010 PCVA Nominations
Nominations for the Victorian Premier’s Community Volunteering Awards are now open. Two Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres won awards in 2009. There are cash prizes ($5,000), and this is a great opportunity to raise the profile of your House and your work. Nominations are open in the following categories (two awards in each for metropolitan and regional areas), and close on Wed 24 March 2010:
