VCOSS Rural and Regional Training - now underway
Registrations are still open for sessions running through to May 2011
The Office for the Community Sector has funded VCOSS to deliver the 2011 Rural and Regional Training Program. The program, now underway, is delivering 40 face-to-face training sessions across the State to staff and volunteers from the NFP community sector on a variety of topics including grant writing, dealing with conflict and strategic planning.
To date, there has been a tremendous response with over 400 people already registered to attend training sessions. The sessions are being held throughout the State and will continue through to the end of May.
Below is a snapshot of the training sessions scheduled during April:
4 April 2011 – Bendigo Strategies for dealing with conflict in boards and committees
5 April 2011 – Benalla Grant Writing
7 April 2011 – Sale Making sense of financial statements
28 April 2011 – Port Fairy Making sense of financial statements
