Victoriaworks for Carers Returning to Work

Community Colleges Victoria is delivering Victoriaworks for carers returning to work grants on behalf of the Dept of Industry, Innovation and Regional Development.  This is a grant program that can help carers who need support to update their existing skills or who are seeking to train for other areas of paid employment, and grants of up to $1000 per person are available to make it easier for carers to return to work by upgrading their skills after an absence from the workforce.

Grants are available until 31 December 2009, so you will need to get your application in quick!  See the attached brochures (one for carers and one for participating organisations) for more information and details of how to apply.
