Volunteer Grants

Do you represent a NFP community organisation looking at ways to cover the costs of engaging volunteers? If so, then apply for a Volunteer Grant before Wednesday 8 June 2011.

Applications are currently open for the 2011 Volunteer Grants. Grant funding of up to $5,000 each is available to NFP community organisations to assist them with reimbursement of volunteer fuel costs, including transport costs incurred by volunteers with a disability, who are unable to drive.

Funding will also help organisations to meet the costs of volunteer training and background screening checks. The funding is also available to help NFP community organisations to purchase practical small equipment items such as computers, barbeques and first aid kits to assist volunteers in their volunteering work.
